2009 Season

Dear Parents/Guardians/Athletes,

Greetings to all! We hope that everyone is doing well! We realize that some of you will likely also be receiving a phone call to supplement this e-mail, but we are trying to "cover all bases"! Due to scheduling conflicts, we are starting our special-needs tennis clinic much earlier this year. We will have the first night on June 17th!! The second night would be on the 24th. ON JULY 1ST, WE WILL HAVE NO TENNIS!!! We will resume the following week and then go until the last session on July 29th. IF we get ANY rainouts, then August 5th would be the last session, regardless of the number of rainouts.

Touch of Tennis dates = June 17th, 24th July 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th make-up date (if rain) = August 5th

We would encourage everyone to check the "blog" on the computer (like a mini-website for those who are not familiar) periodically for updates. The dates that we have just given you should be posted within the next 24 hours. Just go to touchoftennis.blogspot.com, especially for weather updates for that particular night's clinic. The stuff that is currently up on the blog is old stuff (again, except for the new dates), but new things will replace it after the first night most likely! Also, unfortunately, we are probably not going to have the video for the tennis participants this year, and we are sorry to disappoint!

Please shoot Jim an e-mail at holt.j@gmc.edu if you would like to sign up your son or daughter or if you have any questions. At some points last year we were near full capacity, so as was the case last summer, we may have to have the smaller kids on the "mini-tennis" nets on the back of each court! Sorry, we are trying not to turn anyone away! Please let us know as soon as you can if your child wants to sign up for the program again, as we would love to have them back!!!

P.S. While it is much preferred to have an e-mail, people can also call 215-646-7300 (ext. 8018) and leave a message.

Warmest Regards,

Jim Holt/Chuck Scarlato/Wayne Chapman/AJ Garabedian
